New Editing computer

Thinking about upgrading my 6 core AMD /16 gigs to a new machines ( I have a very good Video card). For those of you using MS a lot what would you recommend. I'm thinking of 1300 -1500 for memory, CPU, and a large SSD - maybe a monitor if it could be in the budget. This is a build not a straight purchase.

These days it's hard to judge a computer's performance based on the number of cores and speed of the processor. That's why I use this benchmark chart. Pretty much any processor rating 6000 or greater should be fine for Movie Studio.

That and 8 gigs of RAM should do it.

Thanks steve, will probably go intel with at least a 12 rating & 32 gigs (like to keep mercalli ,PluraEyes, and Acir/sound forge open. I'm assuming a 12 would be ok for 4K (in my plans next year or two).
