New effect fom VF2 "not compatible" with VV2g?

I have problem with new effect from Video Factory in Vegas Video 2g. Firstly there were no new effects available in VV after installing VF. But uninstalling and reinstalling of VV 2g solved this. But now there is another problem. Since the new effect are now available in VV, they does not seem to work correct. I am speaking about Scrolling Credits, the others I did not try yet. After typing the credits they are not visible in the preview screen when playing the clip! When I switch the effect from Scrolling Credits to Timed Sequence they appears. But after selecting Effect Parameters/In: to something else then "none" they disappear again. Selecting Effect Parameters/Out: does nothing.
I am running Win 98SE on AMD Duron, VIA KT133 hardware.
Can anyone help me? I will be glad for every usefull advice.

Vegas and Video Factory are completely different programs. Although some of the effects and plug-ins from one may show up in the other, they were not designed to share plug-ins. Sorry for any confusion.

The AMD/VIA combo has been causing video editing problems for a long time. I'm running Intel stuff, so I haven't kept up on what's happening in this area, (last I heard there were new drivers for the VIA chipset that were supposed to solve some problems), but you may check this out.For future reference, does anybody out there know if VIA ever solved these problems ?

What problems exactly?
I just built an AMD/VIA system and I can test something out for you with it. It has an AMD north bridge and a VIA south bridge.
