These are GREAT! I picked one up right after I saw it at NAMM. It lets me control my comp from our tracking room, meaning that if I want to record and no one is around, I can start/stop it myself from the other room.
For only 200.00..you can't beat what it does. I've not programmed Vegas for it yet, but it looks easy to do. Sonar likes it, saw it right away.
It's RF, not infrared, so it's got some meat to it. One thing I usually do to check a mix balance is step out of the studio, and listen outside the doorway. With this, I can stop/start, and scroll back to a questionable location. I wish it had a level control on it though. (faders) It could also stand to be just a tad heavier. It feels too lightweight.
