New Install, any VV3 users have opinions about Win 2K and ACPI?

I'm about to rebuild my machine:

Epox 8kha+ + AMD 1900+ +768 Meg RAM + Radeon and 2 big IDE 7200 RPM drives.

I will be installing Win2K + SP2 . I always find myself in a quandry about whether to install ACPI or not.

Since I capture via both the Radeon and a 1394 Firewire card I am always concerned that I am not getting optimum performance with Windows controlling my IRQs (though Microsoft swears it's OK ;))

Any advice from other VV3 users?

There are several posts on this forum about disabling ACPI and achieving better performance. I'd recommend you search for them.
