New Keyboard

Yeah...the old eyes are not what they used to be. Working in a dimly lit studio makes it difficult to read my keyboard.

I bought a new, $15 keyboard with big yellow keys and black lettering at Bed, Bath & Beyond of all places. Now, the glow of a monitor screen is all I need.

Just an idea for those of us who hear the clock ticking a bit louder these days.

It's nap time....

Ha! I saw those a couple weeks ago when i was wondering through a BB&B. I had the passing thought, "i wonder who would buy one of those?" Now i know: Butch Moore would!

I just use lights when I edit. :p

I happened to have a picture frame/bookshelf light sitting around. I mounted it on the back of my work desk above the keyboard tray. You would not believe how much eyestrain is reduced by direct lighting your keyboard.

And the cool thing is (tongue in cheek) ...I have a pair of "gosh awful ugly", bright yellow KRK studio monitors sitting on both sides of the monitors!

I'm here to announce that Yellow is the new Black! There, I've said it...now where can I hide?
