MAN! I wish Vegas could be so fast. It's fine now, but Premier is behind SO many 29.97 realtime solutions, it's hard to ignore.
I'm strictly HDV now and find Vegas to be "clunky" (IN PLAYBACK ONLY) compared to demos I've seen for other platforms.
To clarify, I always have some CC on each clip, and often a DVE, and playback for me is around 10fps. I'd much prefer 29.97 - even if I have to pay $1-2K more for it.
