Looks like you can try it out for a limited time before you buy. Based on the dismal history of their Titler Pro, there is no way that I would ever consider buying anything from them without a test run.

I've been using New Blue FX for years and it's only recently under V11 that there has been even a hint of any problem. I have no idea what happened.

i tested yesterday... i found it very poor. i believe everything it does, can ve done with vegas filters itself (it was much slower than vegas filter in software render in my tests)... and it crashed vegas twice. so, "no thanks"

was expecting a little more "advanced" filter i believe...

Color correct and grade clips on shot, that’s a bonus AND isolate color regions to grade or correct WITHOUT creating a lumens mask track …yes please I will take one.

Trying it out….so far pretty neat.

Some of the new blue plugs blow me away the color key is kick ass.

Any update Rory, in regards to stability and the like?

What is useful to me is it can do everything on one turn.

It’s a bonus to work directly on the Vegas timeline without converting to formats for other plugs if you need to do a retention mask.

The only thing I would add is make the mask available as a mask, mask = green in clip. we can select to preview mask but not use mask if we need or desire to.
For example in secondary color corrector the mask is available as a mask for compositing. In this clip I have a mask on the glass but have also masked the color with colorfast so I can bleed the background into mask but the color mask is not available as a mask for other applications.

I don’t have any issues other than I suspect it is locking up the project when reopening the project,- not sure- stuff maybe happening in the background checking for reg etc.
