New Photo Snapshot scripts available

Hello all,

With the help of jetdv and Roger Magnusson, I have created two "Photo Snapshot" scripts for your enjoyment. The scripts have just been recently uploaded to the Sundance Media website (should be visible shortly). Here is a quick summary of each script:

* Photo_Snapshot - Simply put your cursor on a video track and run the script. The script creates a snapshot of the current frame and puts it into a new track called "Photo Track". The script also creates a new track called "Background Track" and a new audio track called "Camera Sound". This is very handy for those moments you want to freeze in time. Edit the script to adjust the length of time for the snapshot and the location of your camera sound file.

* Automated_Photo_Snapshot - Similar to the script above, this script automatically creates a series of snapshot images (from the current cursor location) of the currently selected video track. This is a *very* cool script to automatically create a photo montage of some long family videos. Again, edit the file to adjust the parameters as necessary.

Please let me know if anyone finds these scripts useful.

And, many thanks to all the folks (esp Roger and jetdv) for their contributions to the free scripts.

-Ron

Looks like it takes a while before the files appear on the Sundance web site.

Send me an email (rkelley at employees dot org) and I will send the two scripts via email.

Looking for feedback on these...

The new scripts are finally available on Sundance! Take a look at http://www.sundancemediagroup.com/help/kb/kb_files.asp?s=1 for the "Automated Photo Snapshot" and "Photo Snapshot" scripts.
