New Project Error - Movie Studio Platinum 9.0

I just installed Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0. When the New Project wizard starts, it give me an error message:

"Read only or invalid path. Please correct it."

anytime I try to create a new project on my secondary/data hard drive. It will only let me create new projects on my "C drive" I assume this is a Windows Vista security issue, but haven't been able to figure it out. I've tried running the program in administrator mode and compatibility mode, but no luck. Any thoughts/sugguestions?

Yep. Got the same problem (Vista 64)

I just installed another HD and it seems to work fine. The problem appears to be limited to a secondary drive that has (amongst other things) my "Documents" folder. I'm not trying to create the new project in that folder, but perhaps that has something to do with it.
