New site - auto adds items to shopping cart?

Ok - so I did notice the new site layout but I didn't notice my shopping cart until now - it says "1 item". I look and that item is the "MainConcept MPEG-1&2 Professional" for $99.00.

um...ok..WTF?!?!?!?!

Anyone else finding items in their shopping carts that were not put there by you? I know this was not put there by me and it wasn't there before the site change. Is this some sort of weird Sony marketing?

That's simple!

You forgot to turn auto ripple OFF and quantize to frames ON.

Shopping Cart didn't happen to me.... but this sure is an ugly site.

The shopping cart has a memory. If you add anything to your cart, and then don't explicitly remove it or purchase it, it will show up again in your cart every time you log onto the site. This prevents users from having to go through the purchase process twice if, for some reason, they have to log off before making their purchase.

Yeah but whose? I never "ordered" it or placed it in my shopping cart. I never even knew it existed here until someone pointed it out a few months ago, asking what it was. Even at that time I didn't "order" it. it just poped out from nowhere.

EDIT - does this codec add any support that Vegas 6 lacks? (ie - DVCPro HDV)
