New to DVD Architect Random Background song?

Hello,
I was wanting to create a pretty simple DVD. On the title screen that would be played with the chapters. Is there away to assign more than one song. For example, I have like 5 songs, and would want to random the songs from a loop. I assume I would have to have video for as long as the longest song. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

You can only add one song.

So you'd have to use a program (like Audacity, which is free) to create a "song collage" of all of the music you want to use as your background and save it as a single WAV file.

Thanks Steve so much. I am checking Audacity out right now. However, one last question. I understand the process of the single wav, but would there be a way to create random points so when the background loops it plays a random song instead of starting from the first song. Thanks again. Sounds like I need to look at some of your tutorials.

Sorry, Mav. I know of no way you could do that.

It wouldn't be random, but you can have multiple menus that except for the background audio. The end actions of each chapter can point to a different menu. To the user it could appear to be random.

My idea is since your friends may not be looking very long at the menu screens then just use key snippets of great songs.

Granted they would not re-order themselves but still would have some variety involved.

Good luck,
Bill
