New to Vegas

Hi Everbody out there in Vegas land

I have finally decided to move from Premiere 6.5 / Storm card to Vegas 5. The software should be delivered next week.
I have been reading the pdf manual but can anbody suggest a good DVD set for tuition. Or is it better to search for advice as and when I need it.
I am an experienced editor, this is just a new program for me.

A friend of mine has Gary Kleiner's Vegas 5 Companion , which is a 5 DVD set with a lot of great material. It's highly suitable for beginners and for experieced users, like yourself, who are moving to Vegas from other software.

Yup! I second that advise . . Love the DVDs and Gary's manner is very "comfortable" . . made me feel relaxed while understanding the more complex issues around Colour Correcting ..

This PLUS Spot's Book make a well rounded education package for me.

Gary has some great "one liners" for instance in looping a section of the clip he says "make sure everybody is out of the house when you do this or it will drive them nuts".
