I've just added Vegas Pro 8 in our studio and going through the training DVD's from VASST.
No Video Image:
I see no video image in my capture window when previewing footage from the Vegas capture apt. I see the image on the Sony M25U decks’ video monitor during play, but black in the Vegas capture window. I have deck control in Vegas via DV/HDV firewire. When I Capture Video, still a black image, the Vegas counter is runs but nothing is captured as when I look at the resluts, there is nothing.
Also, so far, Vegas can only “see” my deck in the DV capture mode, not the HDV/SDI capture mode setting in Vegas.
What's wrong or missing here?
