New to VMS

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums and VMS. I have gone through all the little tutorials that comes with the software and I'm eager to learn more. Is there anywhere that gives a good online tutorial, or something that could really teach me how to maximize VMS?

I fully understand that my creativity is the only thing that holds me back, but I'm hoping to find something that can teach me how to use Vegas inside and out so the creativity can flow!

Thanks in Advance!

The first link have a look at the newsletters, each has a beginners corner and also some real technical articles

The second has lots of free resources for Vegas and Vegas Movie Studio

Also a warm Welcome from here.

Maybe you have already seen it - but if not - then there is the "Show me how" button which shows a step by step animated guide to many different functions.

Also "The full Vegas" (a "Superset of VMS") has a very impressive and illustrated manual which can be downloaded from Sony's Free Trial site. It does describe, of course, also some extended functions that are not part of VMS/P - but this has never been a problem to me.

Thanks Jimmy, I'm awaiting for activation from the Scripting site. I clicked on the Vast.com link and it took me to something that has me looking for cars??

Try looking for vasst.com instead of vast.com.

Also note that scripting is only available in the full "Pro" version of Vegas. That being said, there's still tons of good stuff at vasst.com even for Studio users.
