Click on "Run" and enter "msconfig". Select what you want to turn off. It works for me.

According to their site enditall ver 2 does not list XP as an option. Do you have a different version?

I have end it al - it works fine on XP. I am not sure though if the version I have said it was for XP or 2k. But 2k programs will normally work ok with XP.

Also if you haven't already you should really go to Black Vipers site and click on the "Windows XP Services" link on the right side under "Features". It is probably the best site to read over and follow for shutting off things you don't really need. On the Servies page there is a link to the "Windows XP Super Tweaks Page" which is great as well.

Also one of the first things he says is Do NOT use "msconfig" to disable services, type "services.msc" in the Run box instead! . He rpovides a "why" link in case you ask "why?"

videoguys.com has a page that has XP tweaks for NLE. It also has a lot of processes you can shut down.

You should save your system settings by using the XP System Restore feature first.
