Just picked up a 'used' MOTU 24i from B+H for $499. Plugged it into to my existing PCI324 and whammo - it's just all there.
However, in V5, with audio device 'PCI324' selected (ASIO), V5 options for selecting the output device are greyed, and need to be selected in XP Sound properties as default output to function (I also have a TB Santa Cruz in there, so XP itself needs to be told...). No, I'm not selecting Windows Sound Mapper in V5 !
Maybe V5 does not bother presenting an options, seeing there is only one pair of outputs on that device ?
Next excersize if too connect my 2408/2 at the same time. Then I can hook up my DA-88 as well, and can have 52 inputs and 14 outputs live !!!

PS Does anybody have a MOTU 24i manual they could scan (not that there is much to know) ? Motu don't do their manuals online, and no longer have a hard copy, evidently....
