New update build 178 no auto start on play

Previous release had no issues.

With this new release when I burn my 2496 pcm files, the disc will load, but will not auto play. More importantly, when i hit play the first track starts and plays completely, but the next track will not start, the player goes into stop mode. When I hit play it starts at track 1 again.

while playing track 1 I can skip to track 2, when finished it will not go on to track 3.

No issues with the previous release.

What has changed and what can I do?

Burning is fine and no playback issues with 2496 pcm.

Is this DVD Architect Studio v 5.0 ?

Have you aproached Sony - and received a "fix" - ?
FWIW I had an update issue quite a while ago and bit by bit it was resolved by going to an earlier build. Very efficient service, if a tad slow as I was unable to make DVD's other than by a couple of freebe prog.

My earlier build ( of DVDAS v5.0) had no issues until I got a lengthy update from Microsoft (to Win7/32) although as ever it's difficult to pinpoint the precise issues.
Sometime my PC misbehaves with the (Win7/32) updates, but its not easy to grasp what each of these upgrades are for . . .

if I buy a car and maybe it needs the seatbelts tightened, I'd expect to be told exactly what they intend to do. For example I'd be upset if they took the trouble to recalibrate my fuel guage so it stopped on a deserted road in the middle of winter.

I'm not seeing any other Posts about this 178-build; so I may update during May 2013, but I'm prepared to wait a while to be sure.
