Render out for what use? To store for later? To playback on a device?

There are so many delivery formats right now that it all depends on where it is going. For archive, I like nothing better than CIneform, but my needs are different than most and storage size is not an issue.

Your first step here then is to research what formats you Bravia TV will play from a MemoryStick. I am only familiar with ones that will play slides but not video from the stick.

As for NTSC or PAL, it will come down to what your TV will play. Vegas will convert it for you, but it must be compatible with your TV to do any good.

Start with the manual on the TV or take the model number and put it into an internet search and track down the manual for the TV. It should give you a list of formats and resolutions, along with bitrates, that it will take.
