New Vegas Pro 16 install doesn't work

Hi everyone, newbie here. I purchased and installed Vegas Pro 16.  I have windows 10 on a Dell XPS 15 computer on a 3rd generation I7 chip, 8 GB ram. I keep getting the message "Vegas Pro has stopped working". The program never appears, all I get is that message in a white box. I've sent it in with buttons checked off many times and have not heard from anyone. Please help. Thanks!

I execute the program and after a few seconds of what appears to be loading in some plug-ins, a large light grey and white box appears with the following message. "VEGAS Pro has stopped working Details about the problem can be collected and reported to MAGIX Computer Products Intl. Co. for troubleshooting. Optional: Please describe what you were doing in VEGAS Pro when the problem occurred. Our engineering team can use this information to reproduce and try to solve the issue."

I've sent this to Magix several times but no response yet.

With content I mean not the error message itself but the content visible when you check both boxes below that text.

Try as a first step to delete the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\16.0 and try to start again, that folder is building again
If the error after that stil exists we have to look if maybe some plugins cause the error.

what about uninstalling and reinstalling Vegas? I'm concerned with messing around with the AppData folder. And thanks very much for helping me!
