New Vegas Pro 18 Glitchy

I just purchase a new Alienware computer and Sony Vegas Pro 18. Vegas was the first thing I downloaded on the computer, and everything was working good for about 5 minutes. Then the menu started getting glitchy/buggy. Under the transitions tab in the preview window, one transitions title was blown up very large and was the only thing visible in the window, when I moved my mouse over the title, the other transition titles started to appear as I moved my mouse over them. I have included some pictures (they are not the best quality) but hopefully someone can see what I'm talking about. Its not only in the transition window. Buttons will disappear unless I hover over them with the mouse, and the "Render" button was only a sliver of a button.

@Wall_Bick See if this thread is relevant. And by the way, Vegas Pro is a Magix product and has nothing to do with Sony.

@Jack S thank you for your reply. I deleted the Sound software that came with my purchase a few days ago, and that problem has gone away.
