New Vegas Pro 22 Install Doesn't Launch

When launching a brand new Vegas Pro 22 install I receive this error:

I researched the forum and saw that I should uninstall and reinstall NewBlue add-ins (something like that) but I can't launch the program to do that.

My workstation is old but has 24GB RAM, two Xeon processors at 3.16GHz, SSD drive, NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics w/3GB. I run Windows 10 with dual monitors. I'm not seeing errors with other software (except when I make the error!).

I appreciate any help you can offer in getting Vegas Pro running. It's only for vacation photos, but it's important to me.

You can now do a Google search for "ucrtbase vegas pro" and you will certainly find a way, in addition to what will be posted here.
