new version

Guys,
I am about to upgrade from v.5 but have been told to wait till sept for v7.

I did searches on yahoo and found NOTHING on a new version release.

How can I know if this update is real or shall I just move to 6 now.
I want 1080i rednering and 5 sucks for HD (so I hear).

Have you worked with the demo version of 6? That is good for 30 days, but outside licenses are not included, for example, mpeg2 rendering with Main Concept.

Previously, if bought the prior version within 30 days of the new release, you got a free upgrade. My guess is Version 7 will be officially announced before Sept 15.
