newbie audio question

I have been capturing my video without any audio since I plan on dubbing in sound effects later on. Due to the fact that I forgot to turn on my speakers, I accidentaly captured audio with some of the clips. Is there a way to get rid of the audio so that I have just the video, or do I need to capture the clips again?

Thanks

Sure. When you render you render your video, open the custom dialog box and uncheck the box that says "Include Audio."

If you just want to ignore the audio portion of the clip when you place it on the timeline, click on the audio event and delete it. It will still be in the source file, but won't be included in the project.
