Newbie -- dumb question

Hello,
I am new to VMS but have learned alot by reading alot of your posts and watching the tutorials. Finally getting the hang of "keyframes" but when I go to close it (the red X in the upper right hand corner), I get this message "The preset '(Default)' is part of the plug-in and cannot be deleted". I don't know what this means -- I don't think I got this message when I first started so I don't know what I've messed up. Hopely someone can help me.

Don't click that X. That X is to delete user-created templates, not to close a window or whatever. And the built-in template can't be deleted. That's what's the message is telling yo.

....so I just go to something else without closing it. That "x" deletes rather than closes it, right?

The upper right X deletes one of your former made templates and the upper left x closes the window.

Did you know, that you also can use the manual from the full Vegas Pro? - of course that version has features, that VMS has not, but the manual is very informative and detalied. Download it from the page where you would download the Vegas Pro trial version - there is a link: "Manual".
