First of all, in light of some of the negative comments recently surrounding VV4, I would like to say how pleased I am with this product. I am very new to NLE and think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. VV4 is completely addicting and relatively easy to pick up, even for a beginner like me. Now, I have a question if anybody would like to help me as I am at an impasse. I am sure I am overlooking something very simple, but I can't figure out what. Here is my problem. After capturing video to Vegas, I would like to generate still photos from the timeline. When I try to use the "save snapshot to file" button on the video preview window, the button is greyed out, meaning it is inaccessible. It does not let me capture still images of any of my project. I have tried help, the enclosed manual and the long PDF manual, but all to no avail. What simple thing am I overlooking here? Sorry, if this has been asked before.
