Newbie Question regarding menus and DVD

Hi,

I just started working with DVD Architect. I want to create a menu with a title and a button, linking to my video.

I have created the background, menu image, title and play button.

All I want to do is create a DVD, linking my button to my video. I tried adding my video to the timeline, but it just overlays itself on the background image. I also tried using the manual, but it was of little help.

two ways. The easy yet not as "future proof" way & the harder yet more "future proof" way.

easy way: drop/drag your video on to the menu preview, NOT the time line. it will automatically make a button.

harder way: drop/drag your video to the tree at the upper left of the screen. Then drop/drag the video from the tree to the menu preview. This has the advantage of putting the video at the main level of the dvd & not the main menu level. It's easier to link to & a good habit to use.
