Newbie Questions

I'm a learning youth who has a few questions of meanings that i see around the forum.

PIP - referred to in a Hulk Topic, whats that?

Deck - Topic on it about what kind of decks people have, not exactly sure on it.

Trimmer (In Vegas) Whats the use of this when you can just cut video down in the tracks..?

PIP: Picture in Picture. When a screen image is shrunken so it appears within another screen image.

Deck: As in tape deck. (see dictionary if unfamiliar with the term).

Trimmer: This has come up many time. Please do a forum search.
