Can't I install the NewBlue FX MSP from my XP VMS 7 Platinum onto Vista VMS9 platinum...
When I Installed version 9, I managed to get all the Newblue FX MSSP, but can't use the MSP from the previous XP version : Wave, Shear, Spin.... I have the watermarks... I click on the I by the question mark, as informed, but no registration appears... when I drag the FX onto the time line... a window appears NEwblue Video FX MSP, Newblue VIdeoFX MSP Version 1.0 Copyright 2005.2006 Newblue INc. in the centre There is an empty white space, where I can't click to open, or type anything... Below is "options" Up/Down mouse control of circular knobs. CANCEL HELP OK
I have the serial # on the card provided with the order.... Any idea
Thanks....

From experience with Plat v8 and v9 and now V10, you need to have VMS installed when you install the NB FX. So (by memory) for MSP from V8 you need to have V8 installed then install/register the MSP NB FX. Then install V9. After V9 is installed, you can then install your NB FX that came with V9 (MSPS?). I think you can delete the old VMS version once the NB FX are installed and registered.

NewBlue Support has confirmed that this is the required method.

The effects bundled with VMS7 will work with VMS9. You need to have VMS7 and VMS9 BOTH installed. If you remove VMS7, the effects bundled with VMS7 will have a watermark appear.

thank you..... Will VMS 7 Platinum work with Vista?

It may not be officially supported but you could try it. You don't have to actually USE it - it just needs to be installed for the bundled MSP package to see it.
