NewBlue "Special Offer"

email I sent to NewBlue:

"I recieved a "special offer" email from you, for SONY VEGAS customers, however I've noticed that the product is the same price that you are offering ANY customer on your website. Wanted to ask you if I'm right or wrong,"

response from NewBlue:

The offer we are presenting is a limited-time special offer for Sony customers, however it is not an exclusive offer for them. Nowhere do we imply this, nor would we want to. We feel especially connected to the Vegas marketplace, as it is the platform we used to launch NewBlueFX in the beginning.

my reaction:

Say What?

Did that make you a "New Blue" webbie who's blue with disappointment? ;-) Guess that NewBlueFX was set to NONE! ;-) Or that pricing effect had a "blue" effect on you! ;-) ............ pointless humor has no ending...... just a opportunity and meaningless babbling.......

The mailing from Sony has the same single item pricing as is available on the NewBlueFX website, but it also does indeed have an exclusive offer for $30 off if you purchase Video Essentials I and Video Essentials II together. This is a promotion that is not on the NewBlueFX website.

I just went to their website directly. I didn't use the link from my email. From the main page It took one click to get to this page.

http://www.newbluefx.com/specialoffers/ve2/

It's the identical offer, which is available to anyone.
