NewBlue Titler EX

I was a previous user of VMS HD Platinum 10 Production Suite. When I wanted to upgrade to VMS HD Platinum 11, I didn't buy the version 11 Production Suite because most of the additional programs in the production suite were already installed from Version 10. I'm now disappointed because I the VMSHD Platinum 11 ("non-production suite") doesn't include NewBlue TitlerEX. I contacted NewBlue to see if TitlerEX could be purchased as a stand-alone...it can't. I contacted Sony to see if I could simply upgrade to VMS HD Platinum 11 Production Suite, but no reply. Any thoughts regarding access Titler EX, or any other fairly easy to use titler add ons?

If it's a plug-in you can just link versoion 11 to your version 10 plug-ins folder -- or just copy the NewBlue titler over.

I don't believe that the titler was included with VMS 10.

I had contacted NB regarding an upgrade to the Titler Pro version. By the way, NB Support is very helpful...In this case though, their marketing folks are not selling EX by itself. The Pro version is really meant for pros (based on cost).

You can upgrade to the Production Suite, but you may not like the price.

Titler Pro is now available at NewBlueFX as a separate retail product (with more features than TitlerEX) which should work fine with Vegas Movie Studio 11 versions (OpenFX required at this point). A version supporting older versions of Vegas should be available soon as well.

With Pro there is an "undo" command, unlimited tracks, many more templates and the ability to use more NB FX/transitions in the Titler application. There is no way at the present time to upgrade from EX to Pro :(
