NEXT BUTTON ON MENU PAGE

Hello,
I am trying to master the next button on the menu to take me to the next page using ArchPro 6. I am unable to
1. change the colour of the arrow using fill colour as it does not seem to have any effect
2. create an image or text around the next button as when I bring up the frame around it the arrow remains in the centre.
Sorry if this is all too simple but I am not technical and this is my retirement project so I am learning as I go along. I would appreciate any advice in simple terms.
Thanks,
JohnJ

Hi John,

1. change the colour of the arrow using fill colour as it does not seem to have any effect

Select the menu page, in the right window under the 'General' tab, select which Color Sets you want for the Button options listed. When you select the button, the colors in the four Color Sets can then be changed as you like (I think you have already done this).

2. create an image or text around the next button as when I bring up the frame around it the arrow remains in the centre.

Right click on the button, then Button Style, select either 'Text Only', 'Image Only', 'Text and Image'.

Hope this helps....

Best Regards.....George

Hello George,
Thanks for your help, I think I had got this far, but my problem is actually making it work.
I can select the fill colour in set 1 but when I click on the arrow button nothing happens.
Also when I click the text and image button for the arrow the image and text obliterates the arrow.
If I expand the frame the arrow expands to fill it and always remains in the centre of the frame so that there is no room to add anything else.
Sorry to be a pain here but I am obviously missing some basic point so if you can think of something it would be very helpful.
Thanks,
JohnJ

Hi John,

I may have mislead you in the previous post as I think I misunderstood what you are trying to do.

If you want to have an image, text and arrow, and able to resize, move the placement, etc. and have them all with the same selection colors, etc......I don't think that is possible. In DVD Architect, there are certain assumptions, and I think what you want to do may be outside of the flexibility of DVDA 6.

I don't consider myself a pro or export, so maybe there is a way, and hopefully others will contribute a solution for you. I thought I had a quick answer, but it appears I may be over my head on this one. Perhaps someone else can provide a simple solution.

Best Regards.......George
