Nikon D600 files - can Vegas handle?

I understand that Nikon uses .MOV files in this camera.

Having had problems with VP12's handling of .MOV files from the iPhone, I'm wondering if the Nikon D600 files can be imported and edited OK in Vegas.

Any help much appreciated.

I'm not sure about the D600 files, but the .mov files from my D5100 edit very easily in Vegas. I am qute sure that it would be the same for D600 or D800 mov idles as well.

The D5100 .mov files also edit very easily at full resolution on an iPad which I think is extremely cool.

Nikon video files has no problem with Vegas.
