Nikon D7000 .mov files

Any ideas why vms 10 plat would not open video files from Nikon D7000 camera?

MJPEG MOV requires Quicktime to be installed. Make sure that's properly installed.

They are not MJPEG, they are AVCHD H.264/MPEG-4 Part 10; 24fps

I have just installed the latest Quicktime and I am still getting this error message

What are those "authoring components"?

Install Vegas 11 Platinum, in parallel, and check if it works with it.
