Hi, I rendered a project in Movie Studio and opened it up in DVDA2. The video is fine but there's no sound during preview. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
If you rendered MPEG2, did you render video stream only?
If so, re-render audio as AC3, and insert that into DVDA as well.
(that usualy takes no time at all)
If you've allready rendered as a seperate AC3 file, you may need to set the audio file in the object properties window. I often need to assign the proper audio files to my videos manually.
More rare, if you rendered video w/ audio included, it is still possible that you need to assign the audio as well in the object properties. This is extremely rare, but I've seen it. You just assign the same file for both audio and video.
Thanks for replying. I rendered MPEG1 (I think). When I rendered them they rendered separately (one after the other automatically). The video took around 12 hours and the audio only around 2mins. How do you change the format. In DVDA my video file is .mpg and my audio file is .wav. I don't recall been given the option to set the format. Do I re-render it in Vagas Movie Studio?
I find that every time I load DVDA, I have to go into the control panel to my audio settings and "remind" DVDA that there is a sound card on board. Just had to do again two minutes ago. Even though it shows my card is there, I just reclick OK and suddenly I have sound.
