No Audio DVD Architect Intro Clip

I made a quick test DVD. From the project properties I selected an AVI video to play as an intro before the main menu.

I then put a couple of other AVI videos in some menu's. The project rendered and burned ok. The video's under the main menu worked fine.

The intro video ran but did not have audio. Is this because it was AVI? I know in another post I should be using MPEG2 files and I will do that in future. I thought I saw something in the manual but I can not find it! Please help.

hello....did you remember to add the video's audio in as the intro audio?

forget to add...

If ur intro audio is 'none' there will be no audio.

Is this how, in DVDA, you get the disc to start playing the video immediately upon inserting the disc, rather than going to the menu? On MyDvd this was called "Play video first".

Or is this option just for an intro video, like production logo type thing?

This is the intro clip for the DVD for your logo or movie title clip.

I did not put anything under Audio, I do not know if it is an option to put the choose the video file under "Audio". I will have to check when I get home. But that must be why it did not have audio. Thanks

You can put the same movie file under both the audio section and the video section. You do not need seperate files.
