Dear Sir, I have installed your demo version of Vegas. I have been using Premiere up till now with no problems however its interface is very poor. Your program is working great except I can't get sound on the external preview (via my digital camcorder) I'm in Australia and have selected “PAL DV” template when I open new project. The vision is reaching the external monitor fine. The audio channel and the master channel are NOT muted and the master meters are peaking at 0db
!!!! Using your inbuilt Capture program I can use the Print to tape function. Any selected avi DOES produce sound on the external monitor !!!!
I drag a single AVI onto the timeline and play it. The sound comes out my PC speakers fine (still comes out pc speakers on external monitor).
I have even recorded sound onto a new Audio track. Once again the sound comes out fine on the pc speakers but nothing on the external monitor.
If I change nothing open Adobe Premiere drag same AVI onto timeline the sound comes out the external monitor fine.
!!!! Using your Capture program I can use the Print to tape function. The same AVI DOES produce sound on the external monitor
I have tried to this on TWO computers with 2 different camcorders…. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG. Please help I think this program is excellent and the company I work for will be purchasing it if we can get this problem sorted.
