No audio from CD

I created a project with 16 tracks. Upon playback of the burned CD, I got audio on the 1st two tracks but the other tracks were absent of any audio. The only modification I did to the tracks were to fade some out and fade the next track in so as to create a CD with non-stop music. 3 burn attempts yielded the same result.

Any clues?

Can only think that you have accidentally dragged the track levels down (grab top of event and pull down - but that scales the displayed waveform and would be obvious).

Or Edit | Switches | Mute those events - that would gray out the events.

Of course always ensure your writer has latest firmware - but grasping at straws there....

Audio plays fine on time line. After I burn the CD and play it, there is no audio after track 2 although the remaining tracks are still there. Strange.....

I actually just experienced this on an audio book project that I am burning. I've burned the project before and don't recall having that problem. I'll have to double check one of the original burns / CDs.

The project contains 6 tracks; it is full (72/80 minutes). Track 5's audio stops at about 8.50 minutes in and continues but is silent. Silence continues into Track 6. I've just downloaded update 5.2d and have not yet made a burn on this install. But I've wasted four CDs now and all with same results. To save time, I burned first two at 12x and last two at max speed. The only things I've done differently is burn at a higher speed than 4x and I started to do some work on computer while it is burning. Probably a no, no.

Side question:
CD Text
I have a Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-820S 1.00 burner on my laptop. Have yet to see any CD Text displayed on playback. I understand that WMP does not support CD Text. Which program does? Also, I understand that the artist info, ISRC, etc, may not burn if my burner does not support it. Does anyone know if my burner supports it?

Thanks much.
