More details would help answer this.
They are separating at Capture? or when you're rendering from File/Render As?

They separate after the rendering is complete.
But, when you put the voiceover in, it goes into a separate section - you know how Vegas has three separate sections for audio?

I'm getting the idea that you're using Vegas Movie Studio, not Vegas 5?

When you SAVE the file, it will keep everything separate, but when you RENDER the file, it's all blended together as one single file.

Yes, I am using Sony Movie Studio. I am choosing to make a movie from the File menu and then it gives me the option of saving to my hard drive, to a CD, burning it to a DVD, etc. I choose to save to my hard drive and then I select which format I want. I choose mpg.
Should I be doing something else?
