No Audio on DV tape print

I have just managed to use the print to tape feature to record onto my DV camcorder. The video has come up fine but there is no audio at all. What could be the problem?

Did you hear the sound while you were printing? How did you print to tape? Did you:

- a) render your project to a DV .avi file and use VidCap's print to tape tab?
- b) use Tools / Print to tape from Vegas' timeline?
- c) click the button that sends the preview window's output to an external firewire monitor and play your project?

If it's choice c, then you didn't really "print to tape", all you did was record the preview window output and that doesn't include audio.
