No Audio on DVD

Have created a simple slide show DVD and added background music, all in Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10. After rendering I accepted transfer to DVD Architect Studio 5. On preview in DVDA the audio is fine but after "Make DVD" the DVD has no audio. Tried "Make DVD/ Prepare" and resulting AUDIO_TS folder is empty. Vegas produces .mpg and .ac3 files and these are referenced by DVDA. Any ideas as to why the audio is not recording to DVD, please?

The audio_ts folder will always be empty. It's there for the HD Audio DVD that never took off. Don't delete it because most players will expect to find it since it's part of the DVD spec.

If it plays fine on preview, then the DVD should play in a DVD player. Make sure that there is only one audio track on the timeline. Try pressing the "audio" button on the remote to see if somehow you added the audio as a second track.

Many thanks. It now works. Don't quite understand why it wouldn't before, certainly the speech track is empty and the background music is in the Music track. Have produced many videos before without problems (of this type) but videos always have their own sound track to which I add background music. Thanks again for your help.
