I have a 10-minute movie I put into Vegas from a Mini DVD tape via firewire. I then convert it to .avi and bring it into DV Arch (tried both 1 and 2) to burn. It burns but there is NO AUDIO on the DVD. Anyone have an answer for this. It will be much appreciated.
TIA Burt Wilson
If the source (within DVDA) is an AVI - then I can't think of a legitimate reason why it would not be there when you burn the DVD.
Does the audio play in DVDA's preview?
Did you try to play the DVD in multiple players?
Here's a really silly idea (this really happened to me)... I burned a DVD of an event that I captured where I was using a wireless MIC. This MIC was attached only to the right channel. When the client played the DVD they had only connected the left channel of the DVD player audio to their TV... with the result they believed I had captured no audio.
I had the exact problem you are having. I am not infront of my computer at home, so I don't want to tell you the wrong thing to click on. I will reply back again early this evening with the exact solution.
