If the source (within DVDA) is an AVI - then I can't think of a legitimate reason why it would not be there when you burn the DVD.

Does the audio play in DVDA's preview?
Did you try to play the DVD in multiple players?

Here's a really silly idea (this really happened to me)... I burned a DVD of an event that I captured where I was using a wireless MIC. This MIC was attached only to the right channel. When the client played the DVD they had only connected the left channel of the DVD player audio to their TV... with the result they believed I had captured no audio.

I had the exact problem you are having. I am not infront of my computer at home, so I don't want to tell you the wrong thing to click on. I will reply back again early this evening with the exact solution.

Ok.....this solved my problem.

Go under "options".....--> "preferences" and uncheck the box next to "Close media files when not the active application."

Hope that helps.
