NO audio on H7E CF clips...

Hi

Did a shoot with a Sony H7E camera, when I came home and imported the footage to my PC I was horrified when I discovered the footage had no audio.

Puzzled, I tried playing the footage directly from the camera.... and to my relief I learned that the footage had audio.

But every time I import (or just drag it over) the M2T files has no audio ?!?

Has anyone experienced this ? and how do I import M2T files WITH sound ?!?

Using firewire ....

Hi Christoffer

I guess you are from Denmark too? Not many here :-)

How did you capture? Inside Vegas, and which ver. do you use.

You could try to capture with the freeware, HDV Split and see if it makes any difference.

Hi Ulf

Nice to meet a fellow Dane here :)

I'm using Vegas 9.c
The footage is captured on a CF card so I just simply dragged and drop it from the hard disc.
I didn't use Vegas to import because its a 2 hour clip from a concert , and its easier on my com to work with "Little" 4 GB clips instead of one massive 20 GB chunk

The HDVsplit didn't work , but thanks for the idea.

I'm converting the clips into .wav files which seems to work .... sigh...
