No audio track on MP4 recorded in OBS Studio

I record gameplay and mic input in OBS Studio and can hear it when playing the MP4 file however, the file imports to Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12 with no audio track.

I never had this issue with regular OBS.

The only difference that I can see between files recorded with OBS and OBS Studio is that one has the Audio on Stream 0 and Video on Stream 1 whereas the other does it the opposite way round.

Sounds like a question for OBS support.

I had the same problem, and from my understanding it is a problem with your editor's codecs. If you get a simple converter like Handbrake, you can convert the mp4 files to m4v which can then be read by Movie Studio.
