No custom option for mc avc

I have Vegas Movie Studio 9 platinum. I wanted to try different settings for saving my projects. I don't have the custom option if I choose any of the mainconcept presets. From reading replies to other questions on the forum I believe I should be able to select mainconcept and then custom to change parameters. Is this correct.

You need VMS Platinum 10 to get the customization of MainConcept. For VMS9, you must use Sony AVC instead, which is customizable, but it lacks features (profile control, VBR support), and it's more crashy.
