There are many past posts regarding this issue but here is a new one. About a week ago, I became unable to Print to Tape. The box at the bottom of the window read "No device detected" even though it was correct in the "Capture" mode. In the PTT window, all of the buttons were "greyed" out. From there, I went through the routine of repairing, uninstalling reinstalling etc. etc.to no avail. Then I restored the computer to a week ago and it came right up and is working great as it should. The offending program appears to be Cerious Softwares Thumbsplus 7.0 (beta version). Thumbsplus 6 has been in use on this computer longer than MS and never caused this problem. Thumbsplus is a fairly popular program and if I can keep one person from having this problem , it will be worth the effort.
