What version of DVD-A are you using? That was a known bug in DVD-A, which was fixed in 1.0a. Unfortunately, and unless I've done something wrong, it seems to have creeped back into 1.0c. Can anyone else confirm this? (In the event that this is player-specific, I'm using a Panasonic.)

On the general page of the preferences dialog (Options | Preferences...), make sure "Enable Go Up button in videos" is unchecked.

Like I said, "... unless I've done something wrong..." <grin> Thanks, I'll check that out and test it. (I love it, everyone's so helpful here!)

Looks like it's 1.0 issue, now running 1.0c.
Works fine.

Thanks

All is now working again. Apparently, this option defaults to "enabled" on a reinstall (I upgraded my mobo, requiring a complete reinstall of WinXP and my apps; I installed DVD-A from 1.0b).

This begs the question: since most people (I'd assume) would want the timecode to show up on their DVD players, would it not make more sense to have this option default to "disabled" on a new install? Also, would it not make more sense to name this option to something more easily understandable ("Disable timecode display", or "Disable timecode display and enable Go button")? I would never have guessed that this was the option to change if I hadn't been told. Perhaps it's something that should be considered for future DVD-A releases...?
