No Email Answer From Customer Service

I was advised to go to this forum as SF support often reads this forum. I have signed up for the vegas 4 online upgrade at $199. Soon after I received an email offer of $149. I have sent several emails to the addresses in both the confirmation email and the offer email with no response. Now when I go to the online tracking, the confirmation number shows up as an invalid offer. Can someone point me in the right direction for making contact with a real live human being? Phone contact is not an option due to where I live. Thanks.

Send an e-mail to Customer Service directly. Since phone isn't possible...

I'm sorry, I must of not made myself clear. The address that isn't responding to me (the subject) IS the customerservice@sonicfoundry.com. Any other ideas are greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I thought maybe the reply from e-mails might have gone through different channels. That's why I mentioned "directly to CS".
The only options are listed on their Contact Customer Service page:

Sorry...can't do more for you.

PS: You are upgrading form VV3.0, right? Also, was your copy of VV3.0 registered?

I think the Sales and Support guys are bogged down in a lot of enquiries and questions at the moment (releasing a major upgrade to a large product obviously generates a huge amount of interest). Anyway, I was having a similar problem, so I left it for about a week and a half and I got a reply.

My query was similar to yours in that SoFo Sales said I could have my upgrade to Vegas 4.0 for free, as I only upgraded to VV3.0 in January.

No, I am upgrading from VV 2.0 and the serial number was accepted by the online form as an eligible serial number.

Thanks.

Thanks. Worst case is I'll send a fax to their number as well.

Hi all,

SoFo CS has been very accommodating regarding these issues, given enough time to handle the enormous workload V4 has generated for them.

I'm confident they will do their best to resolve your issues in due-course.
