OS Win XP Pro SP 2 Sony Vegas 7

Having a senior moment OR Vegas is NOT functioning properly!

I've searched, to NO avail, Vegas 7 user manual, Vegas knowledge base, the user forum search etc..

Carefully following the manual instructions for selecting one or more frame(s) to be copied, cut, deleted, pasted etc.

The ONLY thing that happens is a an option to loop a group appears if/when one or more frames are selected.

I need to DELETE several 8-31 frames in at least three places on a 0:01:21:20 video clip-time line.

PLEASE ASAP e-mail dulca@duo-county.com with what I am doing WRONG or what might be 'WRONG' with Vegas.

Thanks (I'd have upgraded if I needed/used Vega enough to justify doing so.)

All be WELL & be SAFE!

Sorry, not sure what you're trying to do.

Cutting frames out is simple. Position the cursor (vertical line) at the beginning of the cut. Hit "S." Then move the cursor to the end of the cut. Hit "S" again. Then click on the middle section, hit "delete" and that section is gone. Then just drag the right-hand clip over to butt up against the other clip.

I use 7d for my projects; very stable and consistent. Currently rendering to m2v a 1h:24m HD project that I edited over the past several days.
