No FX available Pro 17

I've had to completely reinstall Vegas Pro 17, having so many problems just getting it to run!

The video clips run fine the whole problem is using any of the installed FX. You can drag and drop them onto the clips but nothing shows. Can't even colour grade as when you move the settings nothing happens, tried loading in luts and they don't show at all.

Have tried setting everything back to default but to no avail.

If anyone knows what may be the cause, please let me know as it is becoming unmanageable!!!

Sure you don't have the fx bypass in the monitor window enabled?
