No longer able to resize n reposition PIP with Track Motion

Good day Gurus,

Previously, I was able to move an object on a timeline, resize or reposition it, using the Track Motion button, which opened up an easy to use panel. Now, nothing happens at all.

There is one track for which I can still do this. I can't see based on properties why they are different. I have attached screenshots of both for your perusal.

PS: I know I could use PIP but there are reasons why I prefer to use Track Motion.

Thanks in advance!

Here that still works - in an example to position 3 times the same picture side by side:

Desktop: PC AMD 3960X, 24x3,8 Mhz * RTX 3080 Ti (12 GB)* Blackmagic Extreme 4K 12G * QNAP Max8 10 Gb Lan * Resolve Studio 18 * Edius X* Blackmagic Pocket 6K/6K Pro, EVA1, FS7

Laptop: ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED * internal HDR preview * i9 12900H with i-GPU Iris XE * 32 GB Ram) * Geforce RTX 3070 TI 8GB * internal HDR preview on the laptop monitor * Blackmagic Ultrastudio 4K mini

HDR monitor: ProArt Monitor PA32 UCG-K 1600 nits, Atomos Sumo

Others: Edius NX (Canopus NX)-card in an old XP-System. Edius 4.6 and other systems

You would need to show more than just the Track Motion window in order for us to see the difference between the two tracks. But Track Motion works fine on every track I've used it on (and I use it a lot) in every version of VEGAS. But which version of VEGAS are you using?

Is it possible you've made a compositing "Child" track? if yes, Track Motion on the Parent track will not affect the child. However, Parent Track Motion will.
